About Garden Visits
We are happy to have garden visitors, both to pick out plants and just to come and see the bloom.
Garden visits are by appointment only !
We do not keep regular hours. As a mail-order company we work from home, and we grow our plants in private gardens. We are not set up like a retail store. We lead busy lives, sometimes we are not there, and we cannot accommodate drop in visitors. We can’t compete with garden centers on hours, but we have the quality, selection and daylily specific information you won’t find elsewhere.
We try to see the humour in it, as every year we have visitors drop in unannounced, oftentimes when we are not around. They’ve helped themselves to plants that didn’t belong to us, they’ve asked the neighbours for service, and it’s happened that they arrived unannounced while we were singing Happy Birthday in the garden.
Really, despite all of the above, garden visitors are welcome – please just email or phone so that we may find a mutually convenient time. Appointments are sometimes possible on very short notice (evenings and weekends are usually best for us) – just email or phone so that you know that we will be there.
Emails are usually responded to within 24 hours unless we are out of the country. Phone messages we do the best we can but sometimes will be out of town for a couple days at a time.

Best selection of container grown plants (close to 1000 to choose from) will be in our Etobicoke garden.
Public Daylily Gardens at Humber Arboretum are open dawn till dusk 365 days per year. No admission charge, free parking. Enjoy this wonderful parkland.
